A competent nutrition system and proper care for animals of this breed are the basis of productive maintenance.
The daily menu should consist of basic, balanced and concentrated feed.
The main feed is roughage (hay; straw; silage; twig feed), which must be fed twice a day, which is 50% of the total diet. This food contains fiber, which in turn reduces the acidity in the stomach. This feed should be given before concentrates.
Balancing food (wheat, barley, triticale, oats or bagasse) helps to fill nutrient deficiencies and even out the amount of protein in the animal’s body. This type of feed helps the animals to produce more milk and is often included in the menu in the form of compound feed.
Productive or concentrated food (grain, as well as products and waste of its processing – bran, cake, meal, bread crumbs, flour dust, a group of legumes – allows you to increase milk yield).
Cash cows must drink a lot of water. Its volume is calculated based on the amount of milk (1 liter of water is taken for 3 liters of milk). You need to water the animals 3 times a day. The water should not be cold.
